About me

I began my professional life in administration as a way to support myself through my studies. I have held administrative roles in universities and membership organisations, with duties including general administration, event organisation and facilitation, data entry and website maintenance.
Across that time period, I earned two Masters degrees (University of St Andrews and University of Durham) and a Doctorate in Religions and Theology from the University of Manchester.
My time in academia has given me excellent attention to detail and problem solving capabilities. In addition, I am a careful and accurate researcher, well skilled in communicating in a clear and concise way.
After a geographical move for personal reasons, I moved on to project and data work in both the public and private sectors. Here I have enhanced my skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and worked with various types of data and statistics, such as HR, NHS and National Census data. I also added skills to my portfolio such as Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping.
My varied career history has made me adaptable, flexible, and able to provide a unique range of services to my clients.
I started this business around a year ago, and clients have included several businesses in the handknitting industry (knitwear designers, businesses making or selling good aimed at knitters), podcasters, and wargames rules designers.
In my free time I love all things fibre-related: knitting, crochet, spinning. I also read as much as I can, and love baking sourdough bread!
